when life goes sideways, magick arises

Have you ever had something happen in your life that hits you out of the blue and changes your life in ways you never could have planned, orchestrated or dreamed of?

CRASH! Three months ago I was in a car accident. Nothing major, but I am still recovering and I am rather grumbly about it.

What a gift this inconvenience turned out to be!

Turns out I needed a change in direction. Like the tree pictured here I found on a mossy trail, my life and mindset got flipped all topsy-turvy when that kid pulled out in from of me, and now I am delighted to be finding a new true north.

There are no straight lines in nature…

If you are all topsy-turvy right now, just believe that you know how to grow in the “right” direction. Sometimes life, the YOUniverse, God, The Fates— whatever you please— gets our attention in ways we would never ask for. BUT, I know that I can get stuck in patterns and miss the sparkle of that fresh stream of magick I need…

While circumstances vary from the big shakes like illness, unexpected pregnancy, break-ups, etc, to the small bumps like not getting the job, missing my turn, and that argument where things were said, these moments serve a purpose. Dare I say a DIVINE purpose?

At first I was really whiney about this whole incident. Whining doesn’t help anything (ok, it felt a little good, at first). Then my sovereignty shouted, “Hey! It’s time to level up! It’s time for some fresh magick. Do you want it?”

No matter the circumstance, there is always the invitation to engage with the terrifying beauty of YOU, and BE powerful.

SO if you are feeling shaken, or just perturbed, why not ask what power lies within that wants to be utilized/ awakened/ enJOYed? You don’t have to BE it all at once (let’s get away from the doers mindset), just a little today and a bit more tomorrow.

By asking the question the lessons will appear as circumstances, opportunities, bumps and hurdles. The best part is, there is that fresh sparkle, and everything is prettier with a little sparkle, right?

May the sparkle of a fresh stream of magick draw your attention away from the discomfort of _________.
